Vision
CEIMIA is an international leader and catalyst for innovative, socially responsible and high-impact projects in applied artificial intelligence.
Mission
As an international non-profit organization, we mobilize expertise and resources to promote the development and responsible use of artificial intelligence for the benefit of humanity. Our mission:
- To provide a team of professionals skilled in structuring, financing and managing applied AI projects in a flexible entrepreneurial environment.
- To establish supportive connections between key players in the national and international AI ecosystems, by interacting directly with governments and national AI institutes in Quebec, Canada and abroad.
- To promote diversity and inclusion in all our projects.
Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI)
The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) is a multi-stakeholder initiative which aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice on the development of responsible AI.
Built around a shared commitment to the OECD Principles on Artificial Intelligence, the GPAI fosters international cooperation by gathering engaged minds and expertise from science, industry, civil society, governments, international organizations and academia.
Through the collaboration within four working groups, GPAI assesses the scientific, technical, and socio-economic information relevant to understanding AI impacts, encouraging its responsible development and options for adaptation and mitigation of potential challenges.
GPAI experts collaborate across four Working Group themes: 1) Responsible AI; 2) Data Governance; 3) The Future of Work; and 4) Innovation & Commercialization.
